Why Austemper?
Austemper Heat Treating allows for the controlled formation of a bainitic microstructure of the material. This can provide a more favorable combination of strength and ductility to the material compared to other conventional quench and temper processes. It also reduces the risk of distortion or cracking during the quenching process as well as provides enhanced wear resistance.

We provide quality heat treating through a quality management system. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified as well as CQI-9 and ITAR compliant. We are located in Enfield, Connecticut and do provide local pick up and delivery throughout the state with our own 26 foot box truck.
We also can coordinate with plating and finishing companies as you may require, to help you cut costs!
